American-made Orthotics, Inserts, Braces, Shoes, Stretchers & Other Products for Plantar Fasciitis Relief

If you suffer from plantar fasciitis like I do, my heart goes out to you. It’s painful and debilitating. I’ve had some degree of plantar fasciitis for decades but didn’t realize it. It started in my 20s with a little shuffle walk in the morning. I thought I was just sore from all those high heels I liked to wear back in the day. It progressed to evening pain in my 30s that I figured was from being on my feet. In my 40s, I thought I stepped on a rock when I couldn’t put weight on my left heel for a couple of months. It all came to a head when I was in tears if I was on my feet for more than an hour or so. I knew that wasn’t normal in my very early 50s. I Googled a self-diagnosis of plantar fasciitis, received a likely confirmation from my primary care doctor, and had to wait three months to see the podiatrist she referred me to. I immediately started looking for over-the-counter plantar fasciitis treatment.

Most of the time my priority is on finding products made in the USA, but not this time. I wanted a plantar fasciitis treatment that would give me relief regardless of its country of origin. With a quick search of Google and Amazon, it didn’t take long to see that there was an overwhelming abundance of cheaply made drugstore insoles and foreign-made gadgets that were all the same. Of course. Should’ve known. I had to narrow that down.

When I narrowed my search to plantar fasciitis treatment made in the USA, I found that American made plantar fasciitis pain relief orthotics weren’t all the same. The night splints aren’t as bulky, the plantar fasciitis inserts are higher quality, and the stretchers are used by physical therapists. I haven’t used every product on the list, but I did list them all. We’re all different and what works for me might not work for you and vice versa. I’m no doctor and can’t make recommendations. (See our disclaimer and terms of service for more information). I’m just a plantar fasciitis sufferer like you and sincerely hope you find a plantar fasciitis treatment that gives you some pain relief so you can live your life fully!

Okabashi

I own six pairs of Okabashi flip-flops and sandals so far and let me tell you, they are the only brand of flip-flops I can wear anymore! I love them so much that I bought 3 pairs for Don.

Okabashi men’s and women’s flip-flops and sandals provide premium arch support and a sculpted heel cup for stability and support to help prevent and reduce foot pain. I’m going to warn you so you don’t send them back before giving them a chance. They hurt my feet the first few days. Fortunately, I had read a lot of reviews and recognized it’s common so I persevered. It was 100% worth it. Okabashi shoes put your feet in proper alignment, and if you’ve been walking around with your feet out of alignment, it’s going to take some time for your body to get used to. Just like a new workout program or mattress does. Don’t give up if it happens to you.

The shoes are molded together so the toe pieces and straps won’t pop through or tear off. And as long as you buy your shoes directly from Okabashi, they’re guaranteed to last for 2 years!

All Okabashi shoes made in the USA, eco-friendly, 100% recyclable, vegan, and cruelty-free. The bio-based material is BPA, latex, rubber, and phthalate-free. They’re also machine washable and won’t fade no matter how many times you wash them. I wear mine while camping and gardening in the mud. I just hose them right off.

Handcrafted in Buford, GA, we’re proud to be in the remaining 1% of US footwear manufacturers in the United States.

Oka-B

Ditto to everything I said about Okabashi shoes. Oka-B women’s sandals, slides, flip-flops, and ballet flats come from the same company that makes Okabashi flip-flops and sandals. Oka-B shoes offer massaging arch support and sculpted heel cups just like Okabashi with even more styles and colors to choose from.

Oka-B is a bit more fancy if you will with cute styles that include charms, bows, flowers, and more. You can still wear cute shoes on your beach vacation or every day, even with plantar fasciitis and other foot pain.

All Oka-Bs are made with love in Buford, GA.
