Delaware State News

The Delaware Community Foundation has awarded $483,450 in scholarships for the 2023-24 school year, helping 177 students pursue secondary education.

There is no cap on the number of scholarships or the amount a student may receive. Funding from many of them may be applied to the costs of books and fees, in addition to tuition. Some are one-time awards, and others are renewable.

Among this year’s recipients are:

  • Vanessa Gaines, Caesar Rodney High School — Fred Fifer III Memorial Scholarship, Citibank NAF Scholarship.
