Wuthering Waves: The Pros and Cons of 1.4 Possibly Being the Last Huanglong Nation Patch
Wuthering Waves' 1.4 update appears to be the final patch set within the Huanglong Nation, and this could be for the better or the worse.
Prominent community leaker Stepleaker has shared full renders of new skins for Jinhsi and Sanhua. The images reveal that Jinhsi's skin switches her usual white outfit for a dress with a pink and red color scheme. Her long boots are also replaced by sandals and her hairstyle adds braided buns. As for Sanhua, her skin shows off a dress with white and turquoise elements. Sanhua's hat is gone, but she carries a Yaksha mask on the side of her head. Per the leak, the skins could land in Wuthering Waves sometime during Version 2.0. Earlier Wuthering Waves rumors about new skins suggested that Sanhua's alternate outfit would debut in Version 1.4, but it seems that won't be the case.

If the leak turns out to be true, these would be the first official character skins introduced in Wuthering Waves. It's unclear at what point in Version 2.0 the skins would be added, but considering how the outfits reference ceremonial attire, they may be linked to a future in-game event. Moreover, as Sanhua is a permanently free Wuthering Waves character, her skin could also be free to obtain. Jinhsi, on the other hand, is a limited 5-star unit, so her new outfit may need to be purchased. However, that is just speculation at this time. Wuthering Waves players will have to wait for an official announcement from Kuro Games about the availability of the rumored skins.
Wuthering Waves Version 2.0 launches on January 2. On the same date, the RPG will make its PS5 debut, with a special pre-order bundle already available on the PlayStation Store. Version 2.0 will transport players to the land of Rinascita, the second nation of Solaris-3 that is inspired by carnival culture. Wuthering Waves has already revealed some Rinascita characters, including two confirmed 5-star playable Resonators.
